Your photos and session film are separate creations that complement each other without reducing your photo count. Music selection is thoughtfully handled to match the mood of your film.

Getting the most from your session

Are session films included with all sessions?
Session films are add-ons to sessions for $150 and can be added to any session with the exception of Basic Family or Basic Milestone sessions. Due to their length, longer sessions are better equipped for capturing footage.

How do you choose between taking pictures & shooting film?
I do both! I will always prioritize the still images before the film. I quickly shift between settings to be able to capture both images and footage within that same moment.

Are the images just frozen stills from the video?
No, your photos and film are two separate captures, and are not frozen stills from the film.

Do you receive fewer images when you choose to add a film?
No, your gallery is equal to any other session without a film. Having a film is just an added piece to your finished gallery!

Can we pick the music for our film?
Unfortunately, music licensing is very strict, and there are laws governing the use of music. I have covered my bases to ensure this is done properly and legally, and will pick a song for you that I feel best fits our time together. If you like a song from a film sample that you would like to use, please let me know!
